Our British made automotive heat sleeve is manufactured from ‘E’ glass fibre yarn knitted to form a sleeve and coated with high-grade silicone elastomer rubber. This product lends itself ideally to the automotive industry as it provides the best heat protection and flexibility whether it be needed for protection at normal engine bay operating temperatures or in emergency situations where fire or flame are present.
Our fire sleeve is a very flexible sleeving designed to protect wires, cables, and hoses from high ambient temperatures. It will offer continuous protection at an operating temperature of 260°C and can withstand a molten metal splash at 1200°C lending itself ideally to both OEM replacement or performance vehicle applications.

Sizes
We currently stock 3 sizes of fire sleeve to cover -AN sizes from AN-4 through to AN-10. Of course this sleeving can be used with any kind of hose however we have chosen the closest sizing to match the dash AN systems as closely as possible.
Sizes available are as follows and are supplied in a 0.5m length. When ordering multiple amounts, please note that these will be supplied in a continuous single length:

Silicone coated glass sleeving (Industrial Grade) is manufactured from ‘E’ glass fibre yarn knitted to form a sleeve and coated with high grade iron oxide silicone elastomer rubber. The glass sleeving possesses outstanding characteristics making it ideal for protecting hose assemblies, cables and wires from high heat sources and occasional flame.
