This rear differential / Haldex filter is manufactured by Metzger and is designed to service the rear Haldex system on most Quattro and 4 motion models from approximately 2006 to 2012 with the generation 2 Haldex.
Volkswagen Audi group recommend that Haldex units be serviced regularly to avoid premature wear and failure.
